Leanne always enjoyed singing and was usually involved with choirs. In her church choir she was often a soloist. She performed with the Connecticut Farms Church choir (Union, NJ), the New Life Singers at New Providence Presbyterian Church (New Providence, NJ), Wayne Choraliers (Wayne, PA) and Doylestown Presbyterian Church (Doylestown PA).
For about 15 years, she also sang with the Masterwork Chorus which frequently performed Handel's Messiah at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
Over the years, Dave and Leanne traveled all over the country and throughout many parts of the world, including Hawaii, Europe, Australia & Isreal.
In college, Leanne enjoyed performing on stage including the lead role in Li'l Abner. Later, she also came to enjoy performances on the big stage, especially at the Sight and Sound Theatre in Lancaster.
Later in life, Leanne enjoyed coloring and creating her own works of art, especially to improve her dexterity while combating the ALS.
She also liked cross stitch
Throughout her life, Leanne always enjoyed animals, especailly the cute fuzzy ones . . like cats, dogs, chipmunks & rabbits. She often had ceramic or stuffed animals around the house.
In addition to raising 3 children of her own, Leanne always enjoyed working in nursery schools, day care, Sunday School and Vacation Bible School.
While living in her retirement community, she also enjoyed helping to make stuffed teddy bears for the children of local hospitals.
